Gather at 12:00 at the Pepper Box at Ulcombe then catch the 14:45 Dover - Boulogne ferry and drive east on autoroutes to Reims.

Formal Start at the old GP Pits
Reims (F) - Braunwald (D) - 360 Miles

Leave Reims and take the autoroute to Metz & Nancy then on to St Die in the Vosges. Route des Cretes and the Grand Ballon, passing W of Basel and on SE past Lake Lucerne over the Klausenpass to Braunwald.

Braunwald (D) - Obergurgl (A) - 200 Miles

Walensee, through Liechtenstein to the Arlberg Pass then E on autoroute to Innsbruck. Head S on the autoroute then join th old road over the Brenner Pass then over the Jaufenpass to the Passo del Rombo (N end) and Obergurgl.

Passo del Rombo, Merano and climb Stelvio from the east for a change. Lunch at Stelvio then Passo di Gavia and south to Zone.

Fast run west on autostrada to the Bra (yes really!) then Cuneo and the Col de Tende (tunnel), Col de Brouis, Col de Turini, Puget Teniers, Canyon de Verdun to Moustiers.

Cross country over the Col de Alcubierre to Zaragozo, then carinina and Codos to Catalayud then, A202 to Milmarcos, CM2107, N211, CM110
to Siguenza.

Loop around theeast of Madrid through the Sierra de Albarracin and the motes Universales to visit the Ciudad Encantada and Cuenca before heading across the plains to Toledo.

Back into the Sierra de Guadarrama and follow the mountains NE to Almazon then back roads through the forests to Calahorra.
